Maintenance Engineer, Grantham - £30k

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role will be essential in keeping the plant running at all times in order to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.

What you’ll do…

  • Follow the maintenance schedule that is in place to ensure that all efforts are made to ensure that all operational plant is running at maximum capacity and efficiency.
  • Utilise all downtime in order to identify and carry out preventative maintenance, Repairs and cleaning as required.
  • Consider ways in which to increase the operational efficiency and runtime percentage by minimising downtime.
  • In co-operation with the Site Shift Managers ensure that the plant is kept in a clean and tidy condition daily, allowing safe and effective maintenance work to be carried out, problems to be identified and a professional appearance to be presented at all times.
  • Carry out required maintenance to all areas of site facilities.
  • Effectively manage your own time in order to complete all planned, unplanned maintenance, Cleaning and repairs.
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines
  • Procedures that are in place for permits to work are followed and adhered to at all times, including (Working at height, hot work and working in enclosed spaces) correct manual handling procedures must be followed at all times.

What we’re looking for…

  • At least 2 years mechanical/ electrical maintenance experience
  • Some knowledge of PLC's fault finding and repair
  • Knowledge & understanding of invertors
  • Mechanical engineering knowledge including pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Good attention to detail is essential; the role of an Engineer is vital to our operation and the quality of work is the key to success
  • A good understanding or work based instructions or the ability to pick up new ways of working quickly
  • Health and Safety
  • Working in Confined Spaces
  • Fabrication, welding and structural work

Required experience:

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering: 2 years


Fork Lift Drivers, Grantham - £7.81/hour

We are seeking to appoint Counter Balance Fork Lift Drivers for our Recycling Facility in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Duties will include:

  • Offloading and loading materials from each vehicle in a safe and productive manner
  • Monitoring and controlling continuous flow of materials in the factory
  • Ensuring that products are in the required area
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements relating to the operation
  • An ability to understand work based instructions

Hours of work are 4 on 4 off shifts. 2 days (6am-6pm) and 2 nights (6pm-6am)

A high level of skill and confidence in driving ability is required.

All drivers are required to carry out an on site assessment.


General Operatives, Grantham - £7.50/hour

We are looking for General Operatives to work on the day to day operations at our recycling facility in Grantham.

Candidates will be required to recycle electrical goods, tidy up and do other general warehouse duties. Applicants must be physically able as the job is very demanding. You will be required to adhere to all reasonable requests from the Shift Manager and Supervisor to ensure that continuous productivity is maintained and be able to work within a busy environment.

Candidates must be reliable with a good work ethic, be able to follow health and safety guidelines, follow correct manual handling procedures and wear the correct PPE at all times.

Hours of work are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am rotating weekly.

White Goods Engineer, Grantham - £7.93/hour 

We are looking to appoint a White Goods Engineer for our Grantham site. 

Reporting to the Reuse Manager, you will be responsible for the grading, inspection, repair and testing of a wide range of domestic appliances. 

What you’ll do… 

  • Determine the potential, quality and repair capacity of the product
  • Repair of products after being graded
  • Stripping down and re-building machines
  • Fault finding and diagnosis
  • Testing of products
  • Completing all required paperwork


What we’re looking for… 

  • Candidates with knowledge of domestic appliances
  • Base level electrical awareness and aptitude
  • NVQ in domestic appliance service and repair

Applicants must be self-motivated, maintain a positive approach, follow instructions from team leaders and offer support to other team members.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.
