Refrigerator and Freezer Recycling Process

The recycling operation is carried out by three reducing stages of "Lindemann" shredders followed by automatic separation of the recycled materials into suitable hoppers and skips ready for resale to the end user.

All the CFC gases both from the foam and the cooling system are collected and processed on site by a patented custom built "Lesni" catalytic converter air/gas handling plant with totally benign effluent in the form of sodium chloride (NaCl) and sodium fluoride (NaF) in a 10% aqueous solution.

The system for capturing the CFC Gases operates under negative pressure in a totally enclosed environment, fully monitored to insure zero leakage of CFC's.
